HAILSHAM Town FC’s new home at The Beaconsfield has taken another major step forward, with the artificial pitch now laid and fully marked out.
Our aerial image captured by drone shows the scale of progress being made at the redeveloped stadium, which is rapidly taking shape ahead of its opening.
The completion of the new playing surface marks a significant milestone in the project, with work continuing on the wider redevelopment of the site.
The derelict previous clubhouse has now been demolished and will be replaced by a modern new facility featuring team changing rooms, two dedicated referee changing rooms and improved amenities for spectators.
As part of the development, new male, female and accessible toilets will also be installed. The facilities will not only serve football supporters but will be available for use by visitors to the adjoining recreation ground when not required by the club.
