VISITORS to Knockhatch Adventure Park will have the chance to meet members of the British Army on Thursday, as the Army Engagement Group visits the park.
The team will be bringing a military Land Rover, trailer and a range of equipment for visitors to explore, offering a hands-on opportunity to learn more about life in the Army and the important role it plays both in the UK and around the world.
Guests will be able to sit inside the vehicle, try on Army equipment, speak directly with serving soldiers and gain a greater understanding of who they are, what they do and how they contribute to society.
The free interactive experience, on 29th October from 10am to 2pm, is included with standard park admission and promises to be a fascinating addition to a family day out during the half-term holidays.
