SOUTH-EAST water says repairs have been made and water should be returning to residents in the area.
A spokesperson said: “We are pleased to report that the repair is now complete and we are slowly returning the water to the pipework. This has to be done in a controlled way to prevent any further issues.
“It hopefully won’t be too much longer until your supplies are fully restored. Thankyou for your patience and understanding.”
It follows frustrations as vulnerable residents says despite being on the register, no supplies were delivered since the water outage in the early hours of Saturday.
The area has not received any bottled water since the burst was reported.
