POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a driver was seriously injured in a collision involving two cars in Hailsham.
The collision happened in South Road at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, 22 September.
Two cars were involved in the incident and one of the drivers suffered serious injuries.
Police have confirmed the injured driver remains in hospital following the collision.
Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash are now asking anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from motorists who were travelling along South Road around the time of the collision and may have captured relevant footage on a dashcam.
Anyone who saw either of the vehicles immediately before the collision, or who has other information which could assist the investigation, is also being urged to contact police on 101 and quote serial 670 of 22/09.
